There are positions on both 2nd shift(2pm-10:30pm) and 3rd shift(10pm-6:30am). These individuals will be responsible for heavy lifting of 50 lb bags of powdered ingredients. They will mix them into a large bowl called a sifter that will make sure the different ingredients and powders are mixed thoroughly. The automated equipment fills the final product into 50 lb bags for the customer which is then sewed shut by an automated machine. Sometimes there will be a pneumatic suction to assist in lifting and moving and palletize the bags, other times it will be manual lifting.
