Details: Johns Manville is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Crew Leader to support their Rockdale, IL facility. The Rockdale, Illinois plant manufactures perlite roof insulation board, which is a rigid insulation for built-up commercial roofs. They also cut tapered, edge and cant accessory products for providing slope for positive drainage of flat commercial roofs. The Crew Leader is responsible for a unit of operation, either wet end or dry end, to produce the maximum amount of product within quality specifications. The Crew Leader will act as a trouble shooter and performs various duties relative to quality problems and operating difficulties. This position directs assists and instructs other crew members on their jobs and provides relief as necessary. They will also coordinate change-overs from one product to another. Trains and instructs new or less experiences employees in all facets of job including safety. The Crew Leader is the back-up supervisor when needed. Evaluate and enter information into computers.
