Details: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assuring consistency in our employee relations, human resources, and safety/environmental practices by supporting these functions at individual locations and across the division. Position will provide effective and accurate compliance support to the Bank and its respective business units in connection with BSA/AML matters. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) Assists in the monitoring of new and revised BSA/AML/OFAC laws and regulations, including changes to OFAC sanctions programs, assess impact on the Bank, and assist with implementation. Assists in updating and maintaining BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures to maintain compliance with existing requirements, and new and emerging risks. Assists in responding to regulatory inquiries. Assists management with BSA/AML audits and examinations. Reviews Bank procedures as needed for adherence with applicable laws. Collaborates with the Bank's Compliance and Risk Management staff on AML compliance matters in connection with the implementation of the Bank's risk management programs or other initiatives of the Bank. Monitors as appropriate, training and assistance, statutory, regulatory and case law developments in AML enforcement cases to assess the impact on the bank's products and services. Responsible for certification of potential OFAC matches. Performs other AML/BSA/OFAC compliance related duties as assigned. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as subject matter expert for Community bank staff on money laundering and fraud. Assists with the quarterly risk assessments. Provides annual BSA/AML and fraud training to Community bank and corporate staff. Completes all required compliance exams on a yearly basis. Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures.
