Details: The largest networking company in the world is seeking a network security engineer to contribute in the internal IT team. They will be part of the WAN group which is responsible for NextGen networks and security. They will be building out security solutions for sites that need added security. They are going to be involved with HW certification and testing (sniffer tools) as well as design with Visio/Word/PowerPoint. They will work with the implementation team for the hand-off, but they really won't do the implementation. The required experience will include: -strong route/switch experience (ideally Cisco equipment) -VPN advanced administration or design -DMZ or advanced network security design, analysis, or administration -willingness to grow within the WAN team and contribute to new projects and company initiatives This position is an immediate need and the ideal candidate will start as soon as possible.
