The Occupational Therapist p rovides evaluation and treatment to patients in order to develop motor skills, strengthening, coordination and use of adoptive equipment to further enhance independence and functional activity of daily living skills. Recommends equipment and assistive devices to assist patients to achieve maximum function. 10. Continually assesses the patient for progress toward goals and need for modification in the plan of treatment. 11. Facilitates and promotes independence and optimal functioning. 12. Systematically plans for discharge in collaboration with the patient, family, physician and primary nurse. 13. Submits completed clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies.
