General Service Technician - Car Care

The General Service Technician is also responsible for the appearance and security of the parking lot, building and service repair area, including rest room and break room areas. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (60%) Ability to complete, at a minimum, the following repairs: Fluid flush and replacement, visual vehicle inspection, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs. Maintains a clean, well-organized work area. Responsible for various inspection processes needed to verify product conformance. Participate in ISO related activities and processes including, process improvement, corrective/preventive actions and problem solving. Duties and Responsibitlites: Perform first piece/start-up inspections. Perform in-process inspections. Ensure operators, machinists, deburring personnel check their own work. Perform final inspection prior to plating and shipping. Accept or reject parts/product based on customer specification and inspection results. Initiate DMR as a result of rejected material and recommend dispositions. Perform measurement equipment verifications and/or calibrations and document results. Assist in maintaining equipment and provide recommendations to management for purchases and maintenance needs. Program CMM. Provide on-the-job training to other employees in department. Alert pertinent lead people of processes and/or defects that adversely affect product quality. Provide recommendations as needed for improvement of the Quality Management System. Work with other team members and manufacturing personnel in a cooperative and constructive manner. Conform to the company quality system as documented. Any other duties as assigned by management.

The Charge Nurse is accountable to his/her department supervisor for planning, organizing, directing and controlling activities of the nursing staff during a shift, for the purpose of maintaining standards of quality patient care on the assigned unit in an effective and efficient manner for the adolescent (ages 12-18), adult (ages 19-65), and geriatric (ages 66 and over) patient. Through the assessment of patient needs, the Charge Nurse assigns duties, coordinates work efforts, promotes communication, maintains harmonious relationships among staff and promotes a safe, comfortable atmosphere for patients in cooperation with the appropriate departmental supervisor and the house shift supervisor.
