Details: The Director of Technical Accounting will lead in highly technical areas, including providing accounting guidance for existing, new and proposed accounting pronouncements. In addition, this role would be responsible for accounting and forecasting equity compensation, calculating earnings per share, managing special projects and providing ongoing day to day accounting and financial reporting support. Responsibilities: Application of both moderate and complex accounting principles, including interpretation of technical accounting guidance and documentation of accounting analysis and the creation of Company accounting policies. Advise and interact with senior management on technical and complex transactions. Ensure that CAN Capital remains current in applying existing and new accounting pronouncements and is in compliance with both U.S. GAAP and regulatory concerns. Implementation of key sub-ledger systems and automation; such as share-based payment and EPS applications. Interface with external auditors regarding the application of generally accepted accounting principles, transactions and the issuance of accounting policies. Proactively work with operations to address and resolve technical accounting issues. Oversee accounting due diligence for potential acquisition or investments. Critical role in advising senior management on the financial statement impacts, accurate accounting, modeling of other key metrics and required disclosures of prospective acquisitions, other key ventures and new products. Review accounting and forecasting of the financial statement impact of equity compensation and research the impact of new equity compensation awards. Complete special requests for analysis and research projects that may include researching, consulting, financial modeling and creation of technical memorandums on proposed and/or completed transactions. Support the preparation and reporting of financial statements including, management reporting, SEC reporting, investor relations, bank covenants and other legal and regulatory filings.

Provide ultrasound guidance during procedures (genetic amniocentesis, transvaginal and transcervical chorionic villus biopsy and multifetal reduction). Prior experience preferred but not required. Other duties as required. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent with formal training and graduation from an accredited school of medical ultrasound. Two (2) years of OB/GYN experience; Maternal-Fetal Medicine experience preferred. Registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) for OB/GYN. Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone Certification required. If not currently certified, must gain certification within the first 90 day of employment.
