Details: Overview: The Director of Risk Management is responsible for the Risk Management and Regulatory Services of Archcare at Terence Cardinal Cooke. Responsibilities: Implementing, administering and supporting software applications for engineering research and development and the procurement, inventory, accounting and manufacturing functions of the company including: *Gathering and documenting user requirements and specifications *Support the Quality organization with software validation activities as required *Administering and updating application configurations for the PLM and ERP systems *Monitoring system status *Troubleshooting issues *Providing user support *Performing software testing for new releases and configurations *Management and Tracking of feature improvements and bug fixes *Project management for upgrades, vendor enhancements, and system integrations *Learning and understanding the business processes in an engineering research and development and manufacturing environment *Thorough understanding of best practices for engineering and/or manufacturing software applications *Participate in continuous improvement for refining efficient and effective business processes *Proactively influence, define, and evaluate future software system architecture Requirements: The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a combination of strong technical and people skills resulting in significant organizational impact. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required. 10-15+ years of relevant experience in engineering applications, software development, business systems and process analysis, application administration, systems integration and user support is required.
