Requisition Summary Electrical Diagnostic Engineer will work as part of a team to review and develop electrical diagnostic procedures. They will review and approve any changes to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) definitions for all ECU’s used on PACCAR products. Diagnostic procedures will be simulated on a truck to validate resolution of DTC root causes, requiring the engineer to conduct hands on system diagnostics. The engineer will review ongoing diagnostic results, research misdiagnosis and effect change to correct issues. Finally, they will conduct research into emerging design issues and facilitate prompt resolution, and will research fleet operating parameters and fault history remotely in order to aid in new design efforts. Job Functions / Responsibilities Review DTC changes to determine impact on trouble trees, and insure consistency is maintained across all ECU’s. Review and evaluate existing diagnostic procedures and Standard Repair Times (SRT’s) for effectiveness and recommend adjustments as necessary. Communicates with PACCAR engineers to facilitate research on new product development. Develop effective dashboards for both customer- and PACCAR-focused web portals to insure effective access to truck fleet data for a variety of audiences. Qualifications & Skills Desired: 3+ yrs design & release of automotive or commercial vehicle electrical systems or industry-related background. Experience in design and application of automotive wiring harnesses, automotive electronic control modules, switches, driver input devices, and HMI elements. Knowledge of DC power distribution, management, protection, fusing and routing systems, practices and tools desired. Proficiency using Requirements Management tools, Systems Engineering tools, Pro/E or other 3D CAD software also desired. Engineering knowledge of heavy duty commercial truck safety systems, regulations, especially in the areas of: operating, service, and performance environments. Solid understanding of Design for Six Sigma and Six Sigma techniques. Willing to learn and use new engineering processes and techniques and be resourceful in solving complex technical problems. Experience in product development and new product implementation. Able to work in a team environment. Facility with personal computer software including project management tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Willingness to grow personally and professionally while demonstrating a results-oriented work ethic. High level of initiative and demonstrated use of proactive problem solving approaches. Assist with coverage at the main gate. Routinely check resort amenities (i.e.: pools) for unregistered guests. Tag vehicles for removal by owner at unrented transient sites. JOB DUTIES Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol. Operate cash register and receive payment from customer in cash or credit card, and accurately count and provide change to customers when applicable. Monitor the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting the sale to those who are intoxicated. Order taxis or other means of transportation for intoxicated patrons. Operate in compliance with federal, state and local law requirements for serving alcohol. Greet customers and take beverage orders for guests from restaurant servers. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as ordered, in a timely manner and in compliance with company standards. Perform shift opening and closing duties as directed. Present menus, take orders and serve food to guests seated at the bar. Clean, sanitize and maintain bar area including counters and equipment.
