For example, OMTs located in the southern most areas of our company will be working in extreme heat with high probability of rain during the summer months and mild fall like conditions throughout the winter months. This program requires the successful candidate to have the ability to relocate across several regions of the U.S, and will require extensive travel (both air and car). An OMT will also be required to work non-traditional work schedules i.e. 12 - 14 hour workdays, some weekends, some early start times etc. While some of the OMT work is done in an office, frequently he/she will work out in the field, exposed to elements, weather and other non-office type conditions. We provide engineering, design, fabrication, installation and repair services to the Food Packaging, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor, Medical Gas Pipe and Industrial Gases industries. We currently are seeking an Accounts Receivable Accounting Clerk. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Otherduties may be assigned. ACCOUNTING/RECEIVABLES: Logs daily control sheets for accounts payable, receivables and cash. Prepares daily cash deposits and fills out cash control sheet daily in Excel. Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer in business system. Pulls daily banking transactions and process weekly fund transfer. Obtains and mails invoice copies for customers, as requested. Processes daily credit card deposits. Files check stubs and bank receipts. Researches and processes customer claims of invoice payment. Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks. Issues receivable freight invoices and credits memos. Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows up. Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts. Processes invoices through customer Electronic Data Interchange ( EDI) websites. Runs D&B on new credit applicants, and set up new customer accounts, and grant extension of credit. Processes credit card transactions and mail receipts to customers. COLLECTIONS: Mails form letters to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts. Confers with customer by telephone in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of sales, service, or credit contract with customer. Records information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts.\Orders repossession or service disconnection, or turns over account to attorney. Sorts and files correspondence. Receives payments and posts amount paid to customer account. Traces customer to new address by inquiring at post office or by questioning neighbors. Assists with related special projects, as required.
