You will create and implement hotel-level tactical sales plan; you’ll be require to work with the General Manager and Front Desk and utilize them as part of your sales team. Details: Director for Youth and Young Adult Ministry Job Description Basic Responsibilities: • Recruit, train and develop current and future parish members to become an active part of our ministry with children, teens and their families • Build up the fellowship of our children and families by establishing active programs that promotes fellowship and strengthens Christian faith. • Provide training for teachers and help co-ordinate leaders of children’s chapel, and ensure that the resources needed for success are readily available • Guide the Youth Ministry’s annual planning and team building, and provide oversight that ensures that the plan is implemented effectively • Work with the parish leaders (Christian Formation, Stewardship, Mission and Outreach Commissions) to raise congregational awareness and heighten members’ commitment to investing in the lives of our youth • Build strong lay leadership in and for ministry with children and teens • Create opportunities for outreach and mission trips appropriate to youth, children, and families • Contribute to the parish newsletter articles that inform the wider parish about youth ministry activities and events. • Communicate using social media platform. Additional Responsibilities: • Work with the Rector, as directed, in other key areas of parish life, including worship and pastoral care • Work with the Rector and Vestry in strategic planning, particularly as it affects areas of planning and oversight. • Stay informed about current trends in youth ministry and diocesan programs available for youth and young families. Performance Metrics: • Increase numbers of children/youth and families actively participating in Christian formation programs of parish (10%/year) • Increase number of adults actively engaged in teaching teams • Network and build active groups of families with young children and young adults without children. • Organize one mission/outreach project per year for the younger population of the parish.
