We also provide underlying architectural support for emerging development areas, e.g. big data and Internet of Things. For each of these areas we propose, direct and participate in projects that are both inwardly-focused (importing these technologies in a way that benefits SDS) and outwardly-focused (e.g. contributing technologies developed or furthered within SDS into the open source community).
