MGR EMPLOYEE HEALTH

Details: Develops and implements the Employee Health functions at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. Provides evaluation, treatment and referral of occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. Coordinates comprehensive employee pre-placement health assessments, annual health evaluations and initiates employee wellness programs. Responsible for initiating, implementing and supervising employee programs relating to fitness for duty and accident prevention to meet Joint Commission, California Labor Code, Cal-OSHA, Titles 8 & 22, ADA and AHA requirements. Assists the Safety Officer, Infection Control Practitioner and Risk Manager with respective programs as required. Minimum Requirements: LVN and BLS(AHA) Required Experience in Occupational/Employee Health/Disability Management. Preferred Skills: Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in nursing preferred Previous Supervisory exp. Details: The RN Care Coordinator is responsible for assessing, planning, facilitating and advocating for options and services through a continuum of care from point of contact through discharge on assigned patients.The RN Care Coordinator performs this role in such a manner as to meet the individuals health needs while promoting quality and cost effective outcomes.
