Details: The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs clinical laboratory tests that employ the principles of one or more of the fundamental sciences to detect, identify, measure, or enumerate any particular entity or substance in a clinical laboratory specimen. A clinical laboratory specimen is any material removed from a human being on which examinations can be made to aid in ascertaining the presence, progress, or source of disease in human beings.
