Maintain historical files on each power tool specification to include test history and record reasons for specification changes. Maintain part files with current revisions and documentation. Write operational and parts manuals for new products. Tracking and keeping up to date marketing materials on all products. Patents and trademarks - Tracking and organizing all the patent and trademark information including all correspondence to and from patent and trademark attorneys. Maintain and provide weekly updates to project lists. Issue reports of projects as required. Provide support and information as needed for external committee (UL, CE, CSA) documentation and regional certification as required by company. Maintain product Build of Materials, manage part number logs, and implement engineer change order process and documentation. Manage purchase orders for first production runs. Generate new product development budgets and prepare monthly reports for Senior R&D Manager. Manage and track the product development process with documentation. Develop new product budget, tracking costs against the budget with weekly cost review. Perform other related duties as assigned.
