SHAWANO - A would-be bank robber didn't make it very far in Shawano County Monday. Workers at the Cash Tyme Store on Green Bay Street in Shawano called police around 3:30 p.m. They said a man demanded all of their money. When they refused, the man left. Full Story: WJFW

MADISON - Some state lawmakers want people on food stamps to eat healthier, but Wisconsin food industry leaders say the state shouldn't tell food stamp users how to eat. Brandon Scholz of the Wisconsin Grocers Association criticized a bill that would block food stamp users from buying items like chips, soda and candy bars. Full Story: WJFW

LAC DU FLAMBEAU - The Lac du Flambeau tribe wants drugs OFF their reservation. Drug abuse is not a new issue for the Lac du Flambeau tribe, or elsewhere in the Northwoods, but the tribe is cracking down... Recently they declared a State of Emergency in regard to illegal drugs. Full Story: WJFW

TOWN OF PHELPS - An already deadly year for Wisconsin snowmobilers got worse this weekend. A 46-year-old snowmobiler died in a crash near Phelps Saturday. He was found along the west shore of Lac Vieux Desert Lake. Full Story: WJFW

MILWAUKEE - Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson is planning to launch a series of videos featuring people who he says have been harmed by government intrusion or red tape. MADISON - State wildlife officials want to remind hunters, anglers and trappers-- it's time to renew your licenses. Licenses from 2012-2013 expired March 31. New licenses are valid until that same date in 2014. Full Story: WJFW

MADISON - Wisconsin food prices remained relatively stable, despite recent energy spikes and last summer's drought. The Wisconsin Farm Bureau says the average cost for 16 food items rose about 1 percent since late 2012. Full Story: WJFW

MILWAUKEE - A new report says publicly financed sports arenas don't provide an economic benefit to communities. That conclusion would blunt the argument that's commonly used to justify construction of new stadiums at taxpayer expense. Full Story: WJFW

SAYNER - This weekend marks one year since a Northwoods women went missing from her home in Sayner. Fifty five-year-old Sandra Schinke disappeared a year ago, and family members say they're no closer to finding out what happened to her than they were back then. Full Story: WJFW
