Bear Causing Problems in an Eau Claire Neighborhood

EAU CLAIRE - A black bear has awakened from hibernation and returned to an Eau Claire neighborhood where it's frightening residents, going through garbage cans and breaking bird feeders. Neighbors want the bear removed. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says it's just part of spring, and that if you give the bear two weeks it will be gone. Full Story: WJFW

Ladysmith man sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexual assault of teenagers

LADYSMITH - A Northwestern Wisconsin man will spend the next 30 years in prison for sexually abusing three teenage girls. A jury found 34-year-old Christopher Swanson of Ladysmith guilty back in October. He was accused of multiple counts of physical and sexual abuse of the girls from the summer of 2011 through the spring of 2012. Full Story: WJFW

New snow clearing rules likely to be approved in Rhinelander

RHINELANDER - This winter made it especially tough on homeowners to find places to put all that snow. We got to a point where many were shoveling it into piles higher than their heads, or maybe even onto their neighbor's property. Details Released On Inmate Who Attacked Two Marathon County Officers

WAUSAU - Correction Officers Julie Christensen and Denny Woodward were attacked by Fredrick Morris on March 27th. Morris was supposed to go back to his jail cell, but didn’t. "Morris immediately struck officer Christensen to the facial area with his closed fist," said Marathon County Chief Deputy, Scott Parks. Full Story: WJFW
