EAU CLAIRE - Some lakes in northern Wisconsin still have ice on them, and anglers could find their fishing holes still frozen come Saturday's statewide opener. Heath Benike of the state Department of Natural Resources says despite recent warm weather, many lakes north of state Highway 64 are still covered with ice. Full Story: WJFW

LAFAYETTE COUNTY - The man arrested for a triple murder in Layfayette County apparently did not know the victims. Waukesha Police Lt. Tom Wagner says the man was arrested Sunday afternoon without incident. Full Story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - The Rhinelander Police Department will get rid of four moving boxes full of prescription pills after Saturday's drug take back. That's four boxes worth of medication, that won't end up in the wrong hands, in a landfill, or in the water. Full Story: WJFW

TOMAHAWK - A drunk driver almost took everything from Tomahawk's Jason Breitenfeld. Saturday Northwoods residents honored the people who helped save his life. Breitenfeld almost died on Janaury 20th. Full Story: WJFW

MAINE - A Wisconsin DNR warden says he's never seen anything quite like it in his 20 years on the job. A 300-pound black bear in search of food targeted a donkey in Outagamie County. Full Story: WJFW

CRANDON - The North Central Drug Enforcement Group and Northwoods Sheriff's Departments busted 30 people in a drug investigation. The Forest County Sheriff's Office says the investigation lasted SEVEN MONTHS, and wrapped up just yesterday. Full Story: WJFW

ST. GERMAIN - A drunk driver took nearly everything from Jason Breitenfeld. He's extremely lucky to be alive today. On January 20th he was providing a safe ride home from the bars, when a drunk driver nearly killed him. Full Story: WJFW

GREEN BAY - Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have agreed on a contract extension. The Packers announced the deal Friday, but didn't say how long it was for or how much he'll be paid. Full Story: WJFW

MERRILL - The city of Merrill will likely need to say goodbye to a historical building. City leaders tried for years to get grants to restore the Lincoln House on South Mill Street. Full Story: WJFW

CRANDON - A quarter million new jobs- that's what the Governor promises by the end of his first term. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation wants to help create them, and local companies are taking advantage of the effort. Full Story: WJFW

Police in the Wausau Area are cracking down on those peddling sex. Police in Rothschild found out just how easy it is to hire someone for sex.
