LANSING, MICHIGAN - A wolf hunt in upper Michigan grew more likely after a vote in the state house. The Republican-led body approved a bill that could block voters from deciding whether to allow wolf hunting in Michigan. Full Story: WJFW

MADISON - The worst drunk drivers would automatically go to prison under a bill due for a hearing before an Assembly committee. The measure would require a minimum 3-year prison sentence for 7th, 8th or 9th time drunken drivers. Full Story: WJFW

MENOMONIE - Horrible weather in northwestern Wisconsin caused two semis to crash, killing one of the drivers. State Patrol Sergeant David Fish says one semi rolled over on slippery Interstate 94 near Menomonie, and was struck by the second semi early this morning. Full Story: WJFW

MERRILL - Last Friday Anita Bucki disappeared from her Merrill home with nothing. She hasn't been seen since. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department continues to follow up leads in the case. Full Story: WJFW

TOMAHAWK - Humane societies care for as many dogs and cats as they can, but what about larger animals-- like cows, or horses? That's where Bill Blemke comes in. "Some of the situations we take these cattle out of, and horses... No feed, they have no dry place to lay, they're laying in their own feces… for months. No water. It's terrible," said Blemke. MERRILL - A woman from the Merrill area seems to have disappeared without a trace. Friday evening, Mark Bucki reported his wife Anita missing. He said they were awake talking until early Friday morning, and when he woke up at 5 a.m., she was gone. Full Story: WJFW
