TOWN OF MAINE - Officials will investigate a Saturday night shooting in Marathon County. Marathon County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Chad Billeb says dispacthers got a call about a shooting at N. 44th Avenue in the Town of Maine around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. Full story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - Ignoring traffic lights can be dangerous. One person ended up in the hospital after another car drove through a red light and hit them in Rhinelander. It happened just after 9 o'clock on Highway 8. Full story: WJFW

ACROSS WISCONSIN - Last Saturday police departments across the state collected prescription pills. It was apart of the National Prescription Drug "Take-Back" Day. Now, law enforcement, as well as residents, are getting recognition for ranking third in the nation for collecting the drugs. Full story: WJFW

MINOCQUA - Many people enjoy watching the Kentucky Derby. This year, some businesses are using the race to welcome tourists back to the Northwoods. The Minocqua Brewing company served signature Derby drinks to attract tourists. Full story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - Many people in the Northwoods will have to find somewhere else to shop. J.C. Penney in Rhinelander closed today. Full story: WJFW

BIRNAMWOOD - Police in Shawano County believe a 29-year old man was growing pot inside his home. The Shawano County Sheriff's Department got a tip about the possible grow site Thursday. Full story: WJFW

EAGLE RIVER - People need a place to put their boats when they're not using them. Some condo owners in the Northwoods don't have a slip to put their boats so they want to add some slips. Their proposal has stirred up strong opinions from people who live on the lakes. Wild Eagle Lodge includes 76 condos on Duck and Lynx Lakes north of Eagle River. Full story: WJFW

ARBOR VITAE - Imagine waking up in the dead of night and hearing noises inside your home. That happened to one couple in the Northwoods early this morning. It happened right off of highway 70 east in Arbor Vitae. The home where the break-in took place doesn't have any close neighbors. But the Vilas County sheriff's department told me they think the suspect lived within walking distance. Full story: WJFW

NORTHCENTRAL WISCONSIN - We breathe some of the state's cleanest air here in northcentral Wisconsin. Believe it or not - it's getting cleaner. A report gave many northern counties "A" ratings for their air. Full story: WJFW

MERRILL - Some Northwoods fire departments might struggle if they need to put out multiple fires at the same time. Merrill's Fire Department ran into that problem last weekend. The department got calls for three fires on Saturday. Full story: WJFW

ARBOR VITAE - A woman in Arbor Vitae surprised a burglar this morning. Vilas County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a home on Highway 70 east. Around 3:40 a.m., the woman heard something in the dining room and went to see what the noise was. Full story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - We all celebrate birthdays but one local organization celebrates a special milestone. The YMCA of the Northwoods in Rhinelander turns ten today. The Y moved to their current location on Highway 17 in 2004. This offered them more space to grow and expand. Full story: WJFW

MADISON - People who want to vote in Wisconsin this November can leave their ID at home. Republican leaders of the state Senate say there is not enough time to call a special session to pass a new voter ID law. Full story: WJFW
