Police believe they made the right choice handling a report of gunmen near a high school in Wausau Tuesday night. They found out the gunmen were actually six kids playing a game with toy Nerf guns. Police eventually ended up giving the high school seniors disorderly conduct tickets. Full story: WJFW

MADISON - A Dane County judge is set to hear arguments in a lawsuit challenging a 2012 law that sets out conditions for abortions. The law requires a doctor to determine whether the woman's consent is voluntary and inform the woman of domestic abuse services if he or she suspects the woman is being coerced. Full story: WJFW

MADISON - Wisconsin police will now need a warrant to track the location of your cellphone. Governor Scott Walker signed the cell phone tracking bill yesterday. The measure passed the Legislature in February with no opposition. Full story: WJFW

MADISON - Unemployment rates dropped in most of Wisconsin in March. The state Department of Workforce Development released numbers Wednesday. Unemployment was down in all but three of the state's largest 32 cities. Full story: WJFW

MARSHFIELD - Police believe a Marshfield man stole three cars in Illinois and brought them to Wisconsin. He now faces four charges of stealing cars and taking them across state borders. Police say Bradley Greene, 28, stole three cars in December 2013. Full story: WJFW

MADISON - It will soon be three times more costly for drivers to park illegally in a disability parking spot in Wisconsin. Gov. Scott Walker signed a bill Wednesday increasing those fines starting Friday. Full story: WJFW

MILWAUKEE - Democratic U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin is scheduled to talk politics during an hour-long forum at Marquette University in Milwaukee. Baldwin's office says she'll discuss health care reform, immigration, minimum wage and Washington's political divide at Wednesday's event. Full story: WJFW

MADISON - Wisconsin wildlife officials say they're going to hand out personalized certificates to successful first-time turkey hunters this year. The Department of Natural Resources says hunters can fill out information about when and where they killed the bird as well as information on its weight and spur length on the agency's website. WITTENBERG - A 28-year-old Gillett man is in custody after a standoff with police in Shawano County, according to the Shawano County Sheriff's Department. Police say they received calls and reports of a gunman inside the Village of Wittenberg McDonalds / Shell station around 2 p.m. Tuesday. LAC DU FLAMBEAU - People from all over the Northwoods celebrated Earth Day today. Students at Lac du Flambeau school participated in a natural resources fair today.
