In Rhinelander, you'll pay an initial $10 fine if you get stopped for talking on your phone while driving. But court costs push the money total closer to $150.

EAU CLAIRE - A 48-year-old Eau Claire man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for sexually assaulting a teenager, who later became pregnant.
Eau Claire County Judge Paul Lenz also sentenced Larry Johnson Jr. Friday to 20 years of extended supervision upon his release for the first-degree sexual assault of a child younger than 13.

The state Department of Justice argued in federal court that the game PokerPro is a Class III card game and therefore prohibited under the terms of the tribe's gaming compact.
