The Buzz: King Wok reopens

Reader question: You did a story on King Wok about two months ago and said it should open around Oct 1st. Is it open yet? Last I checked it wasn’t open. Answer: King Wok opened Tuesday. The small Chinese restaurant relocated from Green Bay Road in Neenah. It had been displaced when developers reconfigured the strip mall it was in to accommodate the new neighbor, Festival Foods. The Buzz: Little Chicago reopens in Town of Harrison

Little Chicago Dining & Spirits officially opens today in the middle of nowhere, but that’s just fine with owner Butch Kolosso. The newly built supper club at W9650 Friendship Drive is mostly surrounded by a farm and vacant land. It’s in the Town of Harrison with a Kaukauna mailing address. Full Story: Post Crescent

Red Oak ravine bypass nears completion

TOWN OF MENASHA — Work that began in September is nearing completion on installation of a large storm sewer on Gardners Row to bypass heavy flows away from the Red Oak ravine. The 60-inch storm sewer is the first phase of a two-phase diversion-restoration project being done jointly by the town and the City of Appleton. Full Story: Post Crescent

6 OWI task forces to patrol Thanksgiving Eve

Officers from six drunken-driving task forces across the region will take to the streets the night before Thanksgiving. Each deployment will last five hours, with a total of 40 to 50 officers from Brown, Manitowoc, Marinette, Outagamie, Sheboygan and Winnebago counties. Full Story: Post Crescent

Highway 41 Project Worker Injured in Green Bay
