PULASKI — Ten former Pulaski High School students likely will be charged in connection with the sale of prescription drugs to classmates at school. The Pulaski School District recently expelled nine students, and another one left the district, after school administrators and police say they discovered those students were selling a variety of prescription drugs, most used to treat attention deficit disorder, at the school. Max Winkel‘s decisions on a September night in 2011 cost a Poy Sippi teen his life, but his actions after a fatal drunken-driving crash reflected a “horrific, egregious, irresponsible” me-first mentality, a judge said during sentencing Thursday. TOWN OF MENASHA — The proposed sale of the Tri-County Ice Arena was sidelined Tuesday after it became clear that Fox Valley Youth Hockey Association’s offer to purchase the facility had expired. The County Board voted 24-9 to refer the sale of the arena back to the Facilities and Property Management Committee to answer questions about the value of the property and who’s interested in buying it. COMBINED LOCKS — Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to rescue a driver pinned inside his car following a crash Tuesday afternoon at the County CE and Debruin Road intersection. A man, who was driving south on Debruin Road, went through the intersection and was struck by a westbound car on County CE, according to the Fox Valley Metro Police Department. A 22-year-old Oshkosh man made his initial court appearance Tuesday and was charged with stabbing a Sheboygan man in the back with a kitchen knife and killing him Saturday afternoon during a fight outside an apartment building on Sheboygan’s south side. According to a criminal complaint filed Tuesday in Sheboygan County Circuit Court, Michael J. Lemerande told police he initially grabbed the knife to scare away another man... OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) -- A month after an Oshkosh man's decomposing body was found in his home, local officials are reminding people to keep an eye out for their elderly neighbors. OSHKOSH — Rescuers used a Husky airboat Sunday to retrieve a fisherman who was stranded overnight on the ice of Lake Winnebago. The fisherman, Ronald R. Derr, 47, of Oshkosh, was not injured in the ordeal. Full Story: Post Crescent

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Green Bay police have released the names of a husband and wife found dead in a home. Police say the bodies of 49-year-old Michael Carroll and his 52-year-old wife, Kyung "Kim" McCoy, were lying on a bedroom floor when officers arrived at the west side home Thursday.
