Test Raters

Details: ETS (Educational Testing Services) is currently recruiting for Test Raters to score students’ written responses for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). This is a work-from-home position that can be part time (4 hours per day) or full time (8 hours per day). You will receive training and certification. The pay rate for scoring is $13 an hour. CAASPP is a statewide assessment program managed and administered by ETS under contract with the California Department of Education and the California State Board of Education. Beginning with the 2015 administration, the Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment in English language arts/literacy (ELA) and Mathematics will be administered to about 3.4 million students in grades 3–8 and 11. The Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment will replace existing tests in ELA and Mathematics. Administered online, these new assessments adapt to each student’s ability, giving teachers and parent’s better information to help students succeed. Scoring will take place from March 2015 through July 2015. Raters who successfully pass the certification exam will be eligible to score the assessments. Raters score online from their home under the supervision of an assigned Scoring Leader.

Details: Our Story Eastbay is a leading world supplier of athletic footwear, apparel and sports equipment. It was established to meet the performance needs of local high school and college athletes within Central Wisconsin. Originally viewed as a grassroots project, this venture grew into a worldwide direct mail catalog and internet sales conglomerate featuring top athletic brands such as adidas, ASICS®, Reebok, Converse, New Balance, Saucony and Nike. The company began in 1980 when boyhood pals and high school coaches Art Juedes and Rick Gering set out to find professional-quality shoes for their athletes and ended up in business for themselves.
