Industrial Painter

Details: Activities of the position include, but are not limited to the following: Gets work assignment from Supervisor, Lead person or scheduling tool. Follows work instructions or available procedures for all assigned tasks. Performs general cleaning needed. Operates and maintains sweeper and scrubber. Collects, compacts and disposes of trash. Performs test and titration of washing solutions and coolants and maintains proper levels of concentration. Performs minor mechanical duties and basic maintenance work, with assistance as needed. Assists in paint department by hanging and/or removing parts, preparing parts for painting, and counting parts. Assists in removal of laser-nested components. Prepares the surfaces of fabricated components in preparation to paint. Performs housekeeping duties. Assists other work areas or departments as needed Essential Functions: Must be able to safely place and remove hooks to/from conveyor. Must be able to load / unload components onto hooks by hand or jib crane. Where required, reach to place and remove masking material on components. Must be able to safely use a compressed air gun to dry off washed components. Must be able to safely use pneumatic grinders/sanders to prepare components for paint. Must be able to reach, use hand tools to remove components from laser nests, and physically carry the parts from the nesting sheet to table, pallet, tote, etc.

Field Service Warranty Technician

Details: JOB SUMMARY The Field Service Warranty Technician will be responsible for handling all aspects of field service repairs and reporting, including the coordination of work crews and timely resolution and reporting of any issues that occur. The Technician will also work with Customer Support and Accounting to make sure that any issues related to billing/credit are properly reported and administered. This position will be responsible for going to job sites and evaluating customer complaints and completing small repairs within his/her capabilities. When needed, a licensed electrician will be provided to handle work outside the Field Service Warranty Technicians skill set. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate Field Service Technician calls and direct repair crews as needed. Complete all documentation as it relates to the project and distribute to appropriate departments. Enact repairs on small scale projects where his/her familiarity with the problem allows, care should be taken to ensure that all proper safety measures and PPE are taken when working on installed product in the field as electrical circuits can be live and present a hazard. As needed perform inspection of Amerlux product built at remote location, maintain detailed inspection reports. Work with Customer Support and Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that all corrective actions and field reports are properly documented and distributed. Communicate with Production and Engineering any issues found during the process of evaluating material and ensure that corrective actions are documented and in place. Work with Customer Support to assist in claim reporting and follow-through; including communicating with the Vendors as needed. Complete all required reports of Site or Vendor activity with in a reasonable time after the visit is completed. Other duties as deemed appropriate by Management and the Company.
