Role Description The Associate of Care Model Technology and Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day success of Oak Street Health’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Greenway PrimeSuite. Responsible for managing, implementing, and coordinating training program for Oak Street’s new team members on Greenway functionality and workflows, as well as providing ongoing support for team members who are already using Greenway in our clinics. Success requires high levels of problem solving ability, a high degree of resourcefulness, and excellent communications skills. Specific responsibilities include: Becoming Oak Street internal expert on Oak Street workflows Working directly with physician leadership to design, implement and optimize clinical processes and workflows Identify and implement other opportunities to improve outcomes and lower medical costs Developing management reports based on data in our EMR Coordinating training of new users on our EMR and overseeing with new EMR user onboarding process Interacting directly with clinic staff and providing support and workflow guidance on an ongoing basis This role reports directly to the Director of Care Model Technology and Operations and has significant opportunity for advancement and growth of responsibility. Responsibilities include: Provides technical oversight and leadership of teams focused on the Production Support and Delivery of Marriott's eCommerce and Digital applications, including Marriott.com. Resolves and makes decisions on more complex, non-routine application service requests with moderate to high risk. Performs research, analysis, design, and review of application software changes to meet current and future user requirements. Directs Service Providers to modify and maintain existing applications to address changes in business processes. Ensures Service Providers achieve contracted service delivery outcomes, and provides feedback on opportunities for improvement. Leads multiple application support teams staffed with Service Provider onshore and offshore resources. Works with other Marriott project teams to ensure new projects and applications are transitioned into Production Support with proper documentation and support procedures. Required: • 8+ years' experience in information technology application development and support • 5+ years' experience with J2EE, JSP, Javascript and CSS • 2+ years' experience with Web Services and APIs • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification Preferred: • Experience in development and support of high availability, large scale, eCommerce or public facing websites • Experience with Responsive Web Design (RWD) • Experience in providing technical leadership in Service Provider (onshore / offshore) model • Experience in creating business presentations and communications documentation. • Experience in guiding and advising others. • Experience in working with varied architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information, applications, organizational structure, etc. • Knowledge of emerging technologies (new to the Marriott Environment as well as those that are new to the information systems industry). • Technology certifications CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Technical Leadership • Trains and mentors other team members, and peers as appropriate • Provides financial input on department or project budgets or other cost/resource estimates as requested • Identifies opportunities to enhance the service delivery processes. Delivering Technology • Performs more complex quantitative and qualitative analyses for service delivery processes and projects. • Supports existing applications and large projects in a minimum of one environment. • Facilitates achievement of expected deliverables and obligations of Services Providers • Validates completeness of requirements prior to Service Provider solutioning • Through the service provider, plans and coordinates complex implementation overseeing quality control of application functional design, usability, functionality, and implementation.
