Representative Med Office - RO

Details: The Medical Office Representative position is the first point of phone customer service contact for our patients, physicians, other clinic staff, internal and external laboratory and imaging staff, hospital staff, patient family members, and vendors by offering customer service, communications, and appropriate distribution of phone calls and messages. The Medical Office Representative may also perform a variety of other duties including but not limited to collecting and updating demographics and insurance information, verification of health plan eligibility, taking complete and accurate messages, and scheduling mutually acceptable appointment times utilizing an electronic practice management system. Program/Project Management Responsibilities: * Work with the Senior IT Program Manager to establish the program, work with key stakeholders and managers to clearly define its overall mission, goals, and objectives * Provide leadership; coordinate and administer strategies for the ongoing planning and management of the program and the portfolio of projects * Review the status of the program’s supporting projects; provide timely and accurate program management tracking/reporting * Facilitate monthly meetings to review new work, approve, categorize, and prioritize initiatives * Manage the scope of the program and serve as the primary liaison on matters relating to its activities; where applicable - incorporate new work via an approved charter into the program’s scope and assign Program resources to support the project * Coordinate and evaluate the work of supporting project managers; ensure that they are aware of program milestones and deliverables; ensure adherence to appropriate processes and methodologies; assist with issue resolution; evaluate their performance and make recommendations for action; motivate them to achieve peak productivity and performance * Ensure component projects are successfully managed, so they contribute towards achieving the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the program; provide guidance, consultation, and problem solving within the program’s area of focus as needed * Proactively address any issues that may hinder the program’s success * Ensure the successful completion of assigned projects * Ensure that project team members are aware of project milestones and deliverables * Manage the scope of the projects * Resolve any issue that may hinder project success * Ensure that the appropriate processes and methodologies are developed and followed * Maintain project documentation * Effectively lead the project team, maintaining good morale, etc. * Assist project managers and senior project manager in collective portfolio/project tracking * Receptive to some travel QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum of 10 years professional IT experience * Minimum of 5 years IT project management experience * Extremely knowledgeable with project software and methodologies * BA or BS degree preferred * End user computing skills * Data center experience DESIRED SKILLS: * Program Manager experience. * End User Computing experience and Data Center experience. * End User Computing experience is denoted as experience for the end user, Office 365, cloud, tablet, smart phone, etc., that connects into the system. * Data center would be infrastructure related, migrations, servers, VMS, etc. * PMO experience would also be good.
