Maintains training records on personnel attendance. May complete necessary information to ensure the facility’s compliance requirements. Verifies that all employees’ certifications are current. Advises employees of recertification deadlines and works with employees to ensure certification remains current to client agency requirements. Coordinates or provides facility orientation for volunteers and contractors. Maintains all training files for the facility. May assist management in identifying facility training needs and the developing an annual training plan. Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for the processing of SIMS functions, liaising with the database vendor's support personnel and developers, the installation of SIMS software application updates, the development and documenting of data collection and data entry procedures, and oversight and input of data into the SIMS. The position provides SIMS data administration and analysis, systems and process analysis, user training, report/query writing, the development and management of system interfaces between SIMS and other databases, and other computer programming in accordance with user needs, needs of SECEP participating divisions, and SECEP priorities. Qualifications: Possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science/MIS; and/or extensive experience in working as a computer systems analyst with responsibility for major application programs including prior experience as a project leader with responsibility for major applications; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that would provide the above noted knowledge, skill and ability. Ability to write queries and reports for use by internal and external stakeholders utilizing a native query/report writer and/or Microsoft SQL is required. Comprehensive knowledge of and extensive work experience in database systems, system development, systems analysis and programming, systems and application software operations and software maintenance.
