Supply Planner

Details: Job is located in Vernon Hills, IL. The Supply Planner is responsible for building multi-level bills of materials (BOMs) for products manufactured at the company's overseas facility. The BOMs will be created in spreadsheet format and utilized to plan manufacturing activities as well as raw material ordering. The Supply Planner will facilitate communication with the Production team overseas and will provide production plans according to schedule. The Supply Planner will track production metrics such as percent yield and order fulfillment rate using spreadsheets and will work within the department to standardize the spreadsheets used to track orders and deliveries. Create detailed spreadsheets to capture BOM information for products containing 20+ finished components from kit level to raw materials. Maintain spreadsheets and update sampling and scrap factors based on production output. Work cross-regionally within the Production department to define minimum safety stock levels and standard raw material order quantities. Create production plans (i.e. material to be manufactured, quantity, and scheduled manufacture date) for implementation within the Production department. Monitor forecast and adapt production plans accordingly. Evaluate existing spreadsheets that are used to track orders and deliveries, and work within the Production department to standardize tracking such that performance metrics can be efficiently measured. Transform BOM information into a format that can be used to populate material master set up in SAP.

Effectively communicate the plan of care with patient/ responsible party. Assists resident as needed to perform ADL activities. Reports changes in resident condition to direct care staff. Investigate/document accidents and incidents. Participates in staff meeting and gives in-services as required. Participate in discharge planning process. Ensures patient/ responsible party understands release instructions. Monitors supplies and reports inventory to DNS. Assist in the orientation/training of new employees. Take direction and initiate actions cross/additional training) that will allow the assumption of cross-functional duties to ensure seamless patient care.
