WAUSAU - A 40-year-old Athens man faces multiple charges for holding a woman hostage and sexually assaulting multiple times over a two day span, according to a criminal complaint.
Michael Mayville faces nine counts of second degree sexual assault, as well as another charge. Each count carry's a maximum of 40 years in prison.

NORTHWOODS - Heating bills cost a lot, and there a lot of people behind on their payments. Wisconsin Public Service will start disconnecting service from customers behind on their payments starting April 15th.
According to WPS nearly 26,000 customers are 4 months or more behind on payments. The number of people behind on payments is slightly higher than last year.

MADISON - Gov. Scott Walker has quietly signed into law a bill that limits in-person absentee voting to no later than 7 p.m. during the week and no weekend hours.

RHINELANDER - A new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study released Thursday shows one out of 68 kids in the U.S. symptoms of autism. That is a 30 percent increase from just two years ago.
The same study found one in 88 kids showed symptoms in 2008. But now numbers from 2010 show a significant increase.

ACROSS WISCONSIN - Unemployment in Wisconsin dipped slightly in February to 6.1 percent.
The state Department of Workforce Development released the latest figures Thursday. They show the state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in February dropped from 6.2 percent the month before to 6.1 percent.

RHINELANDER - Prosecutors accuse a Rhinelander mother and son of using bath salts in February.
48 year old Elizabeth Tietsort was charged for giving bath salts to another woman.
