UPDATE: Attorneys tell differing narratives in murder trial

MERRILL - UPDATE: April 7th, 2014, 11:30 p.m. Attorneys defending a Lincoln County man accused of murdering his wife believe prosecutors don't have enough evidence to prove the charges against him. Walker signs package of anti-heroin bills

MADISON - Wisconsin law enforcement groups are applauding the governor's signing of seven bills that target the state's heroin epidemic. Gov. Scott Walker signed four of the bills, dubbed Heroin Opiate Prevention and Education or HOPE, into law Monday. Walker planned to sign all seven bills later in the day. Wis. deputies identify suspect in 1990 homicide

FOND DU LAC - Fond du Lac deputies investigating a 1990 homicide have gathered evidence that may incriminate a 60-year-old trucker from Kenosha. A Reporter Media report (http://fondul.ac/1e3XFhW ) says the 1990 death of Berit Beck confounded authorities for decades. But now the Fond du Lac County sheriff's office says a new analysis suggests the trucker was in Beck's van. Full story: WJFW
