Details: Junior Supply Planner Location: Downers Grove, IL Duration: 6+ month contract DESCRIPTION OF ROLE Supply Planners are the primary planning resource for Core Food, Packaging, New Products and the execution of their strategies of assuring supply and minimizing obsolescence. The planner will be responsible for reviewing, communicating and monitoring replenishment plans within their assigned categories and assigned suppliers. The planner will develop and lead inventory policies for specific materials. This position will monitor performance of the plans, make recommendations for improvements and conduct root cause analysis of issues to drive continuous improvement. The Planner will also serve as the point of contact their assigned Distribution Centers. Specific responsibilities include: Support development of production and inventory management plans for promotional items Conduct production capacity analyses and financial risk assessments to identify potential constraints and/or exposure and create recommended contingency plans to mitigate or minimize risk Support the replenishment processes across Suppliers, Distribution Centers and Restaurants including issue resolution and reallocation decision processes Support management and adjustment of demand plans and inventory planning models in supply deployment phases when approved by stakeholders Support regular supplier and Distribution Centers level communication meetings. Distribute Shipment and Inventory plans to drive toward seamless collaboration and achievement of program objectives Conduct root cause analysis on weekly planning exceptions.
