We are actively recruiting a Recovery Services Administrator (Program Manager/Director) to champion our East Carolina Behavioral Health New Bern, North Carolina Program. Using a citizenship framework, Wellness City is a recovery alternative for outpatient services. Full participation by all Wellness City citizens allows them to direct their recovery and wellness plans. Organized around nine Dimensions of Wellness, Wellness City offers a holistic approach to wellness; physical, emotional, intellectual, social, occupational, spiritual, community living, financial, and social/recreational. A team of Recovery Coaches and Recovery Navigators partner with each citizen. Through City Hall meetings, all citizens are invited to participate in decisions and offer feedback regarding the activities, services, and needs of the City. The Recovery Services Administrator I (RSA) is responsible for the overall planning, developing, organizing and maintenance of quality program services. Essential Functions Include: Responsible for administering the business plan and monitoring budgetary activities; planning curriculum; monitoring and adhering to the terms of the contract. Identifies potential customers and referral sources; develop a marketing plan and market program to appropriate organizations and customers; develop policies and procedures for referrals and customer satisfaction. Responsible for the oversight of activities of subordinate staff which includes but are not limited to: 1. Coordinates the hiring process to include interviewing applicants and making hiring recommendations. 2. Provides orientation and ongoing training to staff and/or students. 3. Supervises activities of staff and/or students including assignment of duties. 4. Monitors the performance and evaluates on staff and/or students. 5. Initiates disciplinary actions and recommends improvement plan or corrective action. 6. Assists and monitors staff and/or volunteers in maintaining employment related credentials and/or requirements. 7. Provides continual support and coaching to employees and/or students. 8. Coordinates the activities of the program’s team, facilitating communication between disciplines and assuring high quality services. Plays a lead role with implementing training modules, adjusting them according to demand and upgrading on a continuous basis. Assures quality delivery of all training modules. Implements evaluation tools regularly and track progress towards goals. Continually adjust training content according to evaluation feedback. Participates as an active member of the Programs Management team. Develops and maintains positive and constructive working relationships with collateral agencies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health related field or equivalent; Or High School diploma, GED or AA degree (with behavioral health emphasis) with certification as CPRP, PET Certification or other relevant specialty certification. Two (2) years supervisory experience and/or two (2) years demonstrated experience at the Recovery Services Team Lead level. Experience with program management or administrative dimensions, such as scheduling, budgeting and contractual compliance. Successful completion of RI Peer Employment Training within 45 days of hire. Must possess a valid State Drivers license and be at least 23 years of age if driving a company vehicle, and 21 years of age if driving a personal vehicle on agency business. Driving record clearance for the past 39 months as determined by the State Department of Motor Vehicles Proof of auto insurance if using a person vehicle on agency business.
