Relies on experience and judgment as well as pre-established procedure and instructions to identify, research and resolve technical problems presented through Level I, II and III Help Desk tickets or calls from end users. Documents, tracks and monitors problems to ensure timely resolution. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP This position reports to the Director of IT. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES • Troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets related to technical difficulties with hardware, software, phones, and the network. • Triage Level III trouble tickets • Collaborate with development staff to recreate problems in the test environment • Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of system hardware including servers and network hardware. • Verify issue resolution on the client’s behalf • Verify with the client that the issue has been resolved and update the ticketing system • Interface with infrastructure, database, and development personnel • Communicate planning, progress, and issues in a timely manner • Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement • Monitor backup jobs and processes • Recognize and identify areas where existing policies and procedures related to support of the Help Desk require change • Set up user profiles for new employees and client users which includes maintenance of Active Directory • Terminate user profiles as required. • Provide software application training to staff • Windows Server/operations i.e.; migrating users between terminal servers printer management, fail over monitoring, internal website modifications, monitor interface processes • Data Center Work: must be able to travel to data center and work on server consoles for installs, updates and hardware modifications. • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
Maintenance Mechanic
Details: Thebasic job functions of this position include but are not limited to: working safely,preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment,repairing and fabrication. The candidate will be responsible fortroubleshooting of the production lines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical, aswell as overhead cranes and mobile equipment. Additional responsibilities include planningand executing a project from start to finish. Compensation is hourly, plus bonus incentive plan.
