BARRON - The former Waupun police officer arrested in a multi-county crime spree should enter pleas today in Barron County. Bradley Young is scheduled for arraignment on charges of fleeing from deputies and stealing a pick-up. Full Story: WJFW

MERRILL - A huge grant given to the Merrill Fire Department will keep residents safer and save them a lot of money. The Bierman Family Foundation gave the fire department a grant to buy new equipment, like new turn out gear and a water tender. Full Story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - The long talk about boathouses on Oneida County's lakes will go on for at least another month. The Oneida county board started debating about whether to allow flat-roofed boathouses last October. Full Story: WJFW

TOMAHAWK - Brian Johnson will need to come up with $20,000 if he wants to get out of the Lincoln County Jail. Police arrested Johnson Friday night during a Fall Ride concert. They believe he punched Merrill Police officer Mark Heckendorf in the face. Full Story: WJFW

LA CROSSE - Wisconsin lawmakers again debate whether people should be allowed to get milk straight from the cow. A state Senate committee heard testimony Monday in La Crosse on a bill that would allow farmers to sell unpasteurized milk directly to consumers. Full Story: WJFW

WASHINGTON - NEW INFORMATION: We now know 13 people died today after a shooting rampage at the Washington Navy Yard. They are all believed to be civilians or contractors. About half of the families have been notified as of this evening. Full Story: WJFW
