TOWN OF CASSIAN - We learned today neither of the two motorcycle drivers involved in a crash yesterday in the Town of Cassian were wearing helmets. The crash happened at the intersection of U.S. 51 and County Highway K around 5:30. Full Story: WJFW

CRANDON - The last of the accused ringleaders of last February’s Mole Lake stabbing case will no longer defend his innocence. Dakota Tuckwab pleaded to a pair of felonies in Forest County Court today – one for substantial battery, one for bail jumping. Full Story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - The Rhinelander District Library can't afford to provide group health insurance benefits for employees who should be eligible. That's why the library asked for a 6% increase in their 2014 budget. In a typical year, they ask for 2% more. Full Story: WJFW

CRANDON - Federal tax dollars still go to Northwoods schools that need help. They support schools with large numbers of low income or disadvantaged families. It's the state though, that tracks the schools' improvement and awards the best. Full Story: WJFW

MINOCQUA - Birthdays usually mean celebrating with friends and family. Stella Radant has done that for 106 years. “This is crazy, but you know it just seemed to float together through life, just to do the right thing at the right time,” Radant said. Full Story: WJFW
