WAUSAU - A special prosecutor from Langlade County will try to prove 33-year old Jessica Strom tried to hire a friend to kill her fiancé. Langlade County DA Ralph Uttke will prosecute the case because the person Strom allegedly targeted is an attorney that is well known by Marathon County prosecutors. Full story: WJFW

STEVENS POINT - Stevens Point police say a 39-year-old man poured gasoline in his apartment and then set it on fire and left. The fire happened just before 1 a.m. Tuesday. Police say two people were evacuated from separate apartments. Full story: WJFW
