The Southwest Campus located at 400 Old River Road, Bakersfield, CA 93311 was built in 1992 and is the only acute care hospital in Bakersfield west of the 99 Freeway. This 78-bed hospital also offers a full range of services including emergency services, obstetrics and women"s care, medical/surgical care, and orthopedic services. In 2009, the Orthopedic and Hand Center opened offering comprehensive orthopedic services to the community. This facility employs over 400 people.
