Talent Qualification Specialist Trainee

Details: Under direction of seniors; assist with candidate screening, qualification, and pre-packaging to submit candidates to the Sr or Lead TQS to support staffing goals and objectives. Determine candidate compensation expectation to maximize probability. Package candidates in accordance with corporate standards and focus on the pipelining of candidates to senior/field recruiters. Submit the prospects credentials for re-formatting to a corporate standard or to the respective client and/or field representative and obtain feedback/confirmation of prospects candidacy. Construction Supervisor

Details: Supervises and coordinates new store construction process from preliminary and scheduling through final construction, ensuring on time completion and within project budget guidelines. Champions process for bringing value-added technologies and services for ground-up development and construction improvements and other capital expenditure projects. Assist with the development of construction standards and practices that provide best long-term protection of our investment assets. Coordinates with department associates, vendors, consultants, and general contractors on large box new construction projects. Ensures general contractor compliance of our technical design, construction standards and practices, safety, overall coordination, adherence to construction schedules, quality control and project deliverables. Ensures project drawings are compatible and accurate. Evaluates the construction/improvement options and continually strive for cost-effective process improvements and timely completion of assigned work task. Develop and implement construction management plans achieving the goals and objectives of our stakeholders with an emphasis on timely project completion and value-added design. Works with vendors, engineers, consultants and general contractors through competitive bid and or negotiation to optimize value/pricing for assigned projects. This will include researching economic alternatives. Regular review of construction practices, engineering, architectural drawings and specifications to monitor best value, best practices and ensure overall compliance with plans and specifications. Monitors progress of construction work task completions against project schedule time lines with an emphasis on safety and quality assurance. Timely responses to construction request for information (RFI’s) and change orders (CO’s). Responsible for coordination of all necessary entitlements, permits, licenses, inspections, directing and monitoring compliance with all local, state & federal codes and regulations as applicable to the project. Monitor actual construction cost against budgeted cost to avoid project overruns with a goal of achieving a favorable variance from budget. Review and approves Construction Documents, GC Submittals and shop drawings. Makes recommendations for appropriate changes and revisions to design team compatibility with other design proto-types. Maintains on-site as built redlines and incorporate all site specific changes into final as built contract documents. Maintains daily project log with documentation of all pertinent information required to document communication and progress. Separate project log to be maintained for each active site. Maintains a progressive and consistent photo log of job progress to include underground utilities and off site taps, under-slab rough in of electrical, plumbing & reinforcement, structural steel, rough framing and in wall MEP and H.V.A.C, final building, site and roof. Conduct weekly progress meetings with G.C. and all subcontractors with scheduled work. Review schedule and weekly progress and develop action plan for any discipline not in compliance. Resolve any open RFI, RFP, or change orders. Distribute meeting minutes from G.C. to appropriate parties. Complete site inspection & documentation of all installed work. Identify and communicate any out of compliance items to G.C. in writing. Performs other various duties as assigned.
