Implementation Consultant

Details: The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society is seeking an Implementation Consultant for implementation activities of assigned projects and to be responsible for the execution of all activities relating to implementations. The Implementation Consultant will report to the Implementation Manager to develop and implement the detailed tasks of the assigned implementations. The Implementation Consultant will be responsible for the completion of the tasks to ensure a successful implementation at their assigned centers/agencies/contracted organizations. The Implementation Consultant is expected to know and understand the implementation to facilitate successful outcomes. The Implementation Consultant will have a bachelor degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent certifications required; 3+ years of information technology or business practice implementation desired. Clinical implementation experience is preferred but any technology implementation experience is a significant advantage. The Implementation Consultant must have some exposure in project management embracing industry organizational principles of project management. The Implementation Consultant must possess strong organizational skills and possess the ability to plan and set priorities. Having budgetary knowledge and process experience is important. In addition, the following is important for the Implementation Consultant to be successful in this role: •Experience implementing any technology software or new business practices. •Experience interfacing with any type of operational or technical support structures. •Ability to analyze problems and creatively plan and develop alternatives and solutions. •Must have excellent communications and writing skills with good working knowledge of desktop productivity applications like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio. This position is based at our National Campus in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and may involve approximately 60 to 80% travel at times depending on the implementation.
