Paint Tech Duties and Responsibilities:  Pro-actively supports successful new equipment start up  Prioritizes and conducts physical tests on incoming materials supplied by the customer.  Integrates with technical support and field technical support to answer customer queries, troubleshoot ongoing technical concerns, and communicate current production results  Routinely applies professional sales training skills / customer service skills in daily role of customer business retention and continually improving customer satisfaction while improving the manufacturer's business performance  Uses computer skills to manage topcoat finished product appearance and color, generate reports / presentations for the customer, and maintain reports to technical team.  Uses resources, including customer products, customer and sales knowledge, and the customers network of products and technologies to strategically improve the customer’s reputation with the customer  Knows competitive product offerings and communicates competitive feedback  Works effectively both individually and in a service team environment  Supports the delivery of value-added services  Conducts consistent, professional, quality practices while servicing customers in a manner that is superior to the competition  Anticipates and resolves customer technical issues in a responsive and effective manner  Monitors and manages inventory levels and paint usage  Performs work in a logical orderly and skillful manner  Assures tools and equipment are being used correctly, efficiently and accurately  Uses analytical problem solving skills to complete the required tasks while maintaining a high level of quality workmanship  Manages all applicable safety standards  Safeguards company information by observing company security regulations The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
