Manufacturing Project Manager

Business Unit / Department Mission The H-E-B Manufacturing Division Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing projects involving the installation of new manufacturing lines in existing facilities as well as the construction of new manufacturing facilities. The Project Manager will track all projects, follow-up on all critical path items, inform executives of potential risks, and ensure projects are on time and on budget. Projects are primarily in the food and beverage industry. Project managers should have experience with consumer packaged goods. The Project Manager must be organized, detail-oriented, have exceptional communication skills and must be comfortable with demanding schedules. Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary • Applies knowledge gained from experience to provide credible, action-oriented analysis and recommendations to management. • Reports period actual and forecasts that include, but are not limited to: Capital Investments, Service Level, and comparable analysis. • Provides interpretation and explanation in a summary format that is delivered to senior management. • Manages and serves as SME of Mfg Business Continuity Plans of all Manufacturing Plants. • Serves as administrator of the Mfg Incentive programs, which require analysis of plant accountabilities in areas of chosen focus. • Works on ad hoc projects, strategic in focus, which aid senior management in business decision making. • Supports the Director of New Business Delivery in improving Manufacturing through enhanced processes and detailed financial analysis and interpretation. • Designs/develops Capital Budget tools • Coordinates Capital Budget process between the Plant Leaders and the Corporate office • Reviews/analyzes Capital Budget submissions • Summarizes Plants/Facilities into Manufacturing Division totals. • Consistently reviews capital expenditures for actual to budget information. • Reviews accuracy of plans to expenditures. • Completes, as necessary, fixed asset reconciliations to ensure correct annual depreciation expense and proper lifetime investment for ROI calculations. • Designs/develops/maintains performance metrics for Incentive programs. • Participates in the design and development of the Manufacturing Strategic Business Plan. • Administers the Manufacturing Business Plan through Hoshin Implementation Techniques. • Completes, as required, variance analysis, operational analysis, and capacity analysis of specific plants and/or projects. • Reviews Division results on a regular basis, identifies areas of concern and researches issues identified. • Reviews BCPs (Business Continuity Plans) of each Manufacturing facility on a regular basis; requests and consolidates updates (from Plant Coordinators) as necessary. • Serves as Administrator of all Mfg Division Business Continuity Plans. • Responsible for website administration. • Supply Chain emergency response. • Designs/develops the Cost and Feasibility studies for new Facilities/Equipment/Products. • Performs other special projects as assigned. • Perform research work and prepare analyses of financials in areas including, but not limited to, Manufacturing capital investments, New Business Ventures which included New Facilities, Expansions, Remodels, and new Business Channels
Technical Operations Analyst
Details: Great-West Financial is looking for highly skilled Technical Operations Analyst to join an established and expanding IT organization that is vital to the growth of our company. This position provides Tier 1 production support for Investment Systems applications for both internal and external customers. The role will respond to moderately complex applications production support and/or batch processing issues, deferring more complex problems to lead analysts and department management for resolution. *This position is located in the Denver DTC. Shift Hours: 11:00am- 7:30pm. -Position will also provide Tier 1 support as part of an on-call 24/7 rotatio, responding to batch failures during assigned shifts. Provides Tier 1 support for moderately complex business transactions that are unusual or require "special handling". Supports application maintenance duties. Provides production support for assigned development projects. Completes project tasks within defined milestones. May serve as lead for a project deadline or milestone.
