Strong working knowledge of BGP and OSPF Job Description: This role will work directly with customers, vendors, and Strategic Partners to identify, troubleshoot, resolve data networking related issues and/or design network solutions. Monitor WAN/LAN/WLAN connectivity to ensure that all users have the required WAN/LAN/WLAN connections. Troubleshoot hardware problems. Provide timely and accurate progress status on all ongoing support issues, with an emphasis on problems, issues, and concerns. Daily responsibilities Provide guidance on and/or lead the design & engineering efforts, as well as expert technical input & support for engineering network based on recognized standards and best practices. Work with the client's vendors and provide guidance & criteria for documenting design standards and engineering solutions. Collaborate and consult with stakeholders to develop solutions and coordinate, implement, and prioritize plans to meet standards & requirements. Work closely with project managers to upgrade or create designs to meet business requirements. Work with peers to assist and support other engineering initiatives. Follow all Incident and Problem Management processes for operational support. Lead efforts in updates to processes, procedures, guidelines, and standards, including quality controls. Participate in investigations, analysis, reviews, pilots, and evaluations of advanced technologies.
