Leaders in South Carolina Monday urged state lawmakers to vote to take the Confederate flag off the grounds of the statehouse as soon as Tuesday.

It may not be nice outside today, but there is plenty of summer ahead. Milwauee Recreation is kicking off its free summer playground program Monday at several locations across the city. Children ages 6-17 are encouraged to visit a nearby playground for arts and crafts, contests, organized games and special events.
