A former janitor for the School District of Phelps faces 78 counts of possession of child pornography. Someone from the school district told the Vilas County Sheriff's Department an employee was visiting pornographic websites. Full Story: WJFW

APPLETON - Storms tore through Northeast Wisconsin two weeks ago. Now reports say storm policies were broken. An internal memo says Outagamie County emergency personnel had ample time and reason to sound the sirens when storms tore through the Fox Valley this month, and broke county policy by failing to do so. MADISON - People who want to bag a buck with a crossbow might get that chance. A Wisconsin Senate committee holds a hearing Wednesday on a bill that would expand crossbow use by deer hunters. Full Story: WJFW

LAC DU FLAMBEAU - Construction on Highway 47 between Woodruff and Lac Du Flambeau will move into the next phase Monday. Crews will close down a one mile stretch of Highway 47 in Vilas County. Full Story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - Wildfires out west grew by nearly 50 percent in the past week. The state of Wisconsin has sent more than 300 crew members to help this month alone. We showed you a crew leaving Woodruff last week for California. Another crew left Woodruff this morning. The 20 person team will go to Montana to fight a fire that started two days ago.
