MADISON - A proposal that would raise the speed limit on Wisconsin's interstates to 70 mph continues to race through the Legislature. The Assembly passed the bill earlier this month. A Senate committee plans to hold a public hearing on the measure Thursday and the full Senate could vote on it in November. Full Story: WJFW

MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee company is recalling 50 more tons of chicken and ham products, the third time in two months that Garden-Fresh Foods Inc. initiated a recall over contamination concerns. The latest recall was announced Friday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Full Story: WJFW

BRADLEY - Police arrested two men in the town of Bradley for selling marijuana and keeping a drug house. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department and Merrill PD helped the Tomahawk Police cute the search warrant. It came after a six month investigation. Full Story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - Worn and aged buildings can be more than just an eyesore. They can be a safety hazard. Oneida County is working hard to make sure that their courthouse is neither. The historic landmark has blocks that have separated from the second floor balcony. Full Story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - The old daily news building in Rhinelander will be no more in a few weeks. Oneida County will tear it down no later than November first. Merrill-based C and D Excavation won the project with the lowest bid. Full Story: WJFW

MILWAUKEE - A pregnant Wisconsin woman thinks the state went too far trying to protect her unborn child. Alicia Beltran is challenging the state's fetal protection law after she was confined in a drug treatment center. Full Story: WJFW

EAGLE - A southeastern Wisconsin historical site is scheduled to offer an ethnic-themed dinner in December. Old World Wisconsin will hold the dinner on Dec. 7, Dec. 8, Dec. 14 and Dec. 15 Participants will get a taste of Yankee, German, Irish and Scandinavian immigrants' holiday traditions. EAGLE RIVER - It takes a whole support system to help National Guard Members balance all their obligations. We often think of their families for support. But employers are part of it as well. MADISON - Conservative attorneys are trying to persuade the Wisconsin Supreme Court to wipe out the state's domestic partner registry. Members of the conservative group Wisconsin Family Action filed a lawsuit in 2010 alleging the registry violates a 2006 state constitutional amendment banning gay marriage or anything substantially similar. NORTHWOODS - This year's wolf hunt finished in one week for most of the Northwoods. About a quarter of the wolves harvested so far in the state came out of the Northwoods. So far hunters have killed about one hundred wolves statewide. Full Story: WJFW
