TOMAHAWK - A person was hit by a car Saturday night in Tomahawk, according to the Tomahawk Police Chief Al Elvins. The crash happened around 5:30 on WIS 86 in Tomahawk. There is no information on the condition of the person hit. Full story: WJFW

EAGLE RIVER - The Vilas County Sheriff's Office says 87-year-old Irma L Pitlik was crossing the street Friday afternoon in Eagle River when she was hit by a car. Police say an 87-year-old man was driving the car. Full story: WJFW

WAUSAU - We can use history’s lessons to help make good decisions in the future. The Marathon County Historical Society hopes its new exhibit can teach its own local lessons. Full Story: WJFW

BOULDER JUNCTION - The town of Boulder Junction will soon be able to enjoy its new $2.3 million community center. Construction should be done in a few weeks. For the tiny town of Boulder Junction, the idea that started the project seemed ambitious. The foundation promised to raise $250,000 to offset a tax increase to pay for the community center. WAUSAU - Wausau Police Chief Jeff Hardel was back in the office for a few hours Thursday, according to Wausau Police Captain Ben Bliven. Hardel went on leave a few weeks ago. Police say that’s because he got sick. He’s been using his time off to get healthy. Full story: WJFW
