MARATHON COUNTY - It will take scientists and officials weeks to run tests on a harvested deer in central Wisconsin found carrying Chronic Wasting Disease, according to the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP). The DATCP released a report Monday saying a white-tailed deer from a hunting preserve in Marathon County tested positive for chronic wasting disease. Full Story: WJFW

MADISON - The city of Antigo can take pride in its contribution to the holidays at the State Capitol in Madison. The 15-foot balsam fir came from James Draeger's land near Antigo. Full story: WJFW

IRMA - A Milwaukee man will have to find another place to stay in the Northwoods. A cabin burned down on North Shore Road in Irma this morning. The Merrill Fire Department responded first. Full Story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - Soon you can start getting your coffee and donuts from a new store in Rhinelander. That's because there's a Dunkin Donuts coming to the area. The new Dunkin Donuts will use the property and build where a Remax Office currently resides on Lincoln Street. They'll be across the street from the Home Depot. Full story: WJFW

TOMAHAWK - A well known Tomahawk native who became a Hollywood actor and director will be laid to rest this weekend. His family is planning a Memorial Mass this Saturday, December 7th at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Full Story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - A burglar caught in Rhinelander may have ties to crimes in other states. Catching him here is partly thanks to footprints in the snow. A Rhinelander police officer says she heard an alarm coming from the Verizon Store on Lincoln Street last Tuesday around 2:30 in the morning. Full story: WJFW

MADISON - A company looking to dig a huge iron mine in far northwestern Wisconsin has submitted a scaled-down sampling plan that would make blasting a last resort. Gogebic Taconite originally wanted to remove 4,000 tons of rock from five sites in the Penokee Hills. Full Story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - Holiday shoppers will avoid the lines and hit the stores online today for the busiest day of online shopping of the year. With Black Friday behind us the countdown is on until Christmas. Which means holiday shopping is in full swing. Full Story: WJFW

MADISON - The Wisconsin state Assembly is scheduled on Wednesday to take up Gov. Scott Walker's proposals delaying a health insurance enrollment deadline for nearly 100,000 people. The Republican Legislature earlier this year approved Walker's tightening of Medicaid eligibility, a move kicking 77,000 people out of the BadgerCare program as of Jan. 1. The state's high-risk insurance pool also is slated to disappear at the beginning of the year, leaving another 20,000 people without coverage. Full story: WJFW
