MADISON - A judge has set bail at $1 million for a man accused of killing his elderly parents in northwestern Wisconsin. Prosecutors have charged 44-year-old Jim Crain Jr. of Iron River will killing his father and mother, 79-year-old Jim Crain and 76-year-old Eunice Crain, in the couple's Iron River apartment on Dec. 7. WESTON - We learned more about who may have died in a fire this morning in Weston. Everest Police say the fire started around 4 a.m. at Green Acres Mobile Home Park. Fire was shooting out of the windows when they got there. Four people were inside when it started, but only three made it out. Full story: WJFW

VILAS COUNTY - Snowmobiling can be a lot of fun, but staying safe should be a priority. Someone riding a snowmobile fell through the ice on Sunday. The accident happened on Eagle Lake. Full story: WJFW

BOULDER JUNCTION - Cold temperatures and snow can make a good opportunity to enjoy the wintry outdoors. Boulder Junction used that wintry weather to celebrate the season Saturday. People came out and enjoyed ice skating, bonfire, cross country skiing and sledding. Full story: WJFW

WAUSAU - Some people use war reenactments to connect to their favorite part of history. But one Wausau family takes a different approach reenacting World War ll. Norbert Normand and Grant Simcock bring historical battles to life. "This actually started with Grant. He noted he had GI Joe’s and so we got together," said Normand. Full story: WJFW

FOND DU LAC - Police say a man in Fond du Lac wasn't seriously injured when he was shot — because his belt buckle stopped the bullet. The Fond du Lac Reporter (http://fondul.ac/1kTpjhw ) reports that the shooting happened early Saturday after an altercation. Full story: WJFW

MANITOWISH WATERS - A local library needs more materials so their customers can do more research. Friends of the Library held a benefit for the Frank B. Koller Library in Manitowish Waters. They served soup and cheesecake. Full story: WJFW

CAMBRIA - A 36-year-old Michigan man is dead after a snowmobile crash in Wisconsin Friday. The crash happened around 1 p.m. this afternoon near Cambria. Full story: WJFW

MADISON - Bills designed to toughen Wisconsin's notoriously weak drunken driving laws that passed the state Assembly with bipartisan support may be going nowhere in the Senate. Republican Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald tells The Associated Press he would prefer to spend money on setting up special drunken driving treatment courts statewide before considering the bills. ANTIGO - 85 year old Thelma Bula died after a house fire in Antigo Thursday afternoon, according to the Antigo Fire Department. The Antigo Fire department says the fire start just before 2 p.m. at 1418 Arctic Street. The home was covered with thick smoke when Police and Firefighters got to the fire. Full story: WJFW
